Bug or defense protection

I have a question. I had a proof to compare with old Vendetta. In old vendetta, i had won the battle. In this...i lose and the enemy only lose 1 mercs.
Can someone explain to me?

Defender have an invisible 5% bonus.

Checked it quickly. Yes, the defender had a small bonus to the values and this was also the case in the old game.
Also the losses will be rounded. The Battleresult without the round method would be:

With round the 0.507088266573 will be rounded up to 1 and the 1.47873520028 down to 1.

And what's the influence of the % given by the honour?
I saw somewhere in here attacks of people with less buildings to people with lots of buildings and they loose.
I recall that in the old game, if you had an account of 70 to 100 buildings being attacked by a normal account of 30 or 35, that they could send half of the number of troops and they will win.

In here, it seems to me that the % of attack given by the honour, it is almost useless as long as you have good attack index and defence index in you mercenaries.
Can you explain a bit?

honor just rises your battle power, that is percentage that you multiplicate with your defense index.

if you have 30 buildings honor 4 is 89% battlepower, so if your mercs have defense index 30 000 its 30 000*0,89 = 26700

and if you have 50 buildings with honor 4 battlepower is 73 so it is 30 000*0,73 = 21900

not that hard

I was comparing the Battle results in here, with the battle results with the old game.

Or you couldn't comprehend yet, that they are very different?
And I think that everybody would like to know what's the deal.
Because in the old game you had to restrain your building number if you didn't want to get smashed.
In here it seems that it is much more compensating having lots of buildings.

As i remember it was the same in vendetta. simple math.

And btw cesc, the BP affects the Attack Index, not defense index.

actually i understand him i did the test 1 merc vs 1 merc the other guy had 50 buildings i got 37 i got more 17k with the atack% and both died

Yea, raven was explaining it has to do with the rounding up and down on the combat system. I think that also explains why an attack of 9 mercs vs 1 equal merc still results in equal amounts of loss for both sides.

The losses % will be calculated with the attack- and defence index of attacker and defender.
When you try the data above with my old combat simulator ( kbsim.de.vu/sim/vendetta1923.com.php ; very similar to the actual combat system) and take 39935 as attack index of attacker instead of 38435, you will see, that the attacker won't have any loss.

The ghost of KaRma is back!
@RaVenC has been very busy at work because of a promotion and therefor has not been able to dedicate much time to Stiddari, thats why we have delays on somethings (Universe4k International Server for example).

The last i knew, he had the intention of adding an ingame Combat Simulator in Version 11.0 therefor i imagine he wasn't worried until that update was reached.

Take a random battle report you find here in the forum and simulate it with the tool. You will get exactly the same results as you can see in the actual battle report.

Workaround for the scout problem: just put the amount of scouts in a row of any other unit. The simulator doesn´t check if the values fit for the units you chose so it doesn´t matter to the number of losses. (There might only be a rounding mistake if you add the scouts to units that appear in the battle themselves.)
As for the scanner feature it seems you got to insert the data manually until RavenC updates the tool.
