I think RavenC-s idea is better, becouse it will bring to life S1. People will transfer accounts, from s2 to s1 and we will have much more players and much more fun. And as Raven said, we can play s2, make a good account and give it to friend who will play it on s1 when s2 reset. With modifiers that would not be possible.
